do you have to bend to the arbitrary will of others or be locked up, tortured or killed? you might be a slave.

do you have to ask permission to exercise your rights or risk being locked up, tortured or killed? you might be a slave.
are you a u.s. citizen? then chances are, you're a slave.
you don't have to be. it takes courage to reject the authority others claim to have over you, especially when they have all the guns and the willingness to use them. you need only condition yourself to throw off those bonds. start small, refuse to pay parking tickets, or burn your social security card. over time, you can undomesticate yourself. the time will come when you either have to accept that you will live in poverty and shame beneath the boot of your masters, or you will, consequences be damned, stand up for yourself and refuse to comply.
